You should be working to introduce new brands into the wholesale market in Israel. While the safe approach is to sell what is already popular, scuh as Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, you can make more money by introducing a new designer into the retail shops of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
The reason you can make more money this way, is that if the brand that you introduce takes off, you will by default be the only source for it until your competition has a chance to react.
If you really want to succeed with this wholesale strategy, you need to have an exclsuive representation agreement with the foreign brand owner.
